Drawn from the Horse
One day creative workshop
Spend a day drawing in the company of the herd at Llwyna Farm, slowing down, and tuning into their presence, movement and into the surrounding landscape. Beginning outdoors, working directly from the forms of the horses, with expressive charcoal drawings. Rather than aiming for polished studies, we will explore gesture, movement, rhythm and instinct. Capturing the energy of the herd.
We will take these explorations, and let them evolve, into experimental collages in a mixed media approach using different papers and acrylic paint. Cutting, layering and reworking the mornings sketches, to create more intuitive, playful and abstracted images. A day of observation, experimenting and connection, for anyone who loves horses, experimenting and working creatively in nature.

All art equipment is provided. Please wear suitable out door clothing and footwear.
